living in the United Kingdom. She is a glass and jewelry
designer, featured in several regional and national magazines

Gambogi ’72 celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in
November, 2007. Michelle and Bill began dating after their fifth
year reunion, married after their tenth reunion and now have
four children. Bill is a senior research associate at Dupont
Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware and Michelle is an
RN at Limestone Surgical Center. |

 | Retired Master Gunnery Sergeant Patricia Orsini ’74
is the Director of the Wounded Warrior Program at the US House
of Representatives. A 30-year Marine Corps veteran, Patricia has
helped injured and disabled service members make the transition
to civilian life. In recent years, she has escorted the remains
of fallen Marines from Dover Air Force Base to their hometowns
for burial. Earlier in her career, she sounded taps as the
bugler at military funerals. |
 | Gloucester Catholic High School alumna, Bernadette
McGlade '76, is the new commissioner of the Atlantic 10
Conference. McGlade brings 30 years of experience in college
athletics as a player, coach and administrator. McGlade is a
member of the Camden County Hall of Fame and the South Jersey
Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. As a player for the legendary
coach Bert Nolan, McGlade scored 1,229 career points and helped
the Lady Rams win state titles in 1975 and 1976. She earned her
undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of North
Carolina in Chapel Hill. She served for 17 years at Georgia
Tech, first as one of the youngest Division 1 basketball coaches
in the nation, and then as coordinator of women’s sports.
McGlade has spent the last 11 years with the Atlantic Coast
Conference, including the last nine as associate commissioner. A
Gloucester City native and graduate of Saint Mary’s Elementary
School and GCHS, McGlade comes from a family steeped in women’s
basketball tradition. Bernadette, as well as her sisters Mickey,
Agnus, and Theresa all scored over 1,000 points while playing
for Gloucester Catholic. Agnus McGlade Berenato is the head
basketball coach at the University of Pittsburgh and in 2005 led
the Panthers to their first NCAA championship appearance. |

Meghan, 13, who has begun final training to receive her black
belt in karate. Dan’s son David, 10, will receive his brown belt

 | Bob Zimmerman '84 Is the Captain of Police
with the Pitman Police Department. He and his wife, Diane and
children, Brittany and Ashley reside in Mantua Twp. Bob was a
member of the Mantua Twp. School Board for the past five years,
where he was VP for four years and President this year. On June
16th, he resigned from the school board and accepted an
appointment to the Mantua Twp. Committee (Township Council). Bob
is asking GCHS Alumni and friends who reside in Mantua Twp. to
support him for Twp. Committee during the upcoming general
election on Tuesday - November 4th. |

in August. Residents of Gloucester City, they have seven
children. John is a member of the Gloucester City Police Force
and Katie is a dental office manager. |

 | Lisa Cermignano ’93 was inducted into the
George Washington University Hall of Fame because of her
outstanding athletic accomplishments for the Colonials. While at
GW, Lisa earned four varsity letters and made four trips to the
NCAA Tournament. She scored 1,200 points and ranked second in
all-time three pointers at the school. Lisa now is an
assistant coach for the Vanderbilt University women’s
basketball team. |

recently completed his tenth year with Lockheed Martin. |

Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Washington Township,
coordinates “Operation Footsteps”, a program to collect sneakers
for children in Africa. Mike was named the school’s “Teacher of
the Year” in 2006. |

of his master’s thesis at Rowan University, Chris authored a

Amazon.com’s Breakthrough Novel Award Contest. |

degree in English, and minors in Religion/Philosophy and

University’s five year program with a B.S. in Biomedical
Engineering and a specialization in Biomaterials and Tissue
Engineering. He has completed several internships, including

left for boot camp on March 4th, 2008. He has enlisted for 6
years in the field of Military Intelligence. |

University Park campus, is the student manager for the Nittany
Lions football program. Mark has been assigned to work with
Assistant Coach Larry Johnson and the defensive line. |

offensive tackle for the Widener University football team.
