ART 2
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
(Grade 12.....prerequisite Art I) This course is a continuation of the
fundamentals learned in Art I, together with more specific instruction in
drawing, painting, and color theory. 
This class is geared at building a portfolio for the more serious art
students while providing more advanced projects for Seniors who enjoy the arts.
Grading:
 | Projects - 50% of grade
More advanced projects like painting and jewelry (metal) are added to this year's projects! |
| Sketchbook / Behavior - 50% of grade
Students are responsible for one 60 minute sketch per week. Behavior should never be an issue in the Advance Art Class, but deductions will be made here if so. |
Behavior is a big concern in an art class. There are many sharp items and students spend lots of time on their art. So please be careful as to how you treat your fellow students work! We have two rooms and the back room with professional drawing tables is a privilege to work in. Any student taking advantage of this space will be kept in the front room possibly for the remainder of the school year. So please treat me with respect that way we can have a fun productive year! Just refer to the student handbook for the usual problems; cell phones, throwing things, etc. Looking forward to a great year!!!
