Fine & Practical Arts Department Faculty Profiles

Joan Chalmers

Joan Chalmers earned a BS from Pace University and an MA from St. Joseph’s University, as well as 30 additional graduate credits from Ramapo and Rutgers. She also holds a certificate in AP Environmental Science. A teacher consultant for National Geographic, Mrs. Chalmers has been a member of the GCHS faculty for 30 years. She also serves as the Junior Class moderator.
Susan Schramm

Susan Schramm teaches Choir and Theatre Arts. She brings with her 34 years of teaching experience and has directed the GCHS spring musical for the last three years. This year, she launched our fall drama program of one-act plays.
David A. Sipple

David A. Sipple earned a BA from Rowan University and an MFA from Marywood University. Mr. Sipple’s paintings are currently on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and at galleries in New York City. He is a nine-year member of the GC faculty and moderates our Sketch Club and the Travel Club.
