English Department Faculty Profiles

Edward Beckett

Ed Beckett, Assistant Principal for Spiritual Formation, holds a BA in history from Rutgers University, an MA in Philosophy from Saint Louis University, and an M.Div. from Weston Jesuit School of Theology. He also earned an MA in Philosophy from Trinity College in Dublin and an MA in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University. At GCHS, he is our Student Activities Director and Assistant Internal Coordinator for the GCHS Middle States Self-Study. Mr. Beckett also moderates our Outdoors Club and the GCHS chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Thomas Flynn

Tom Flynn holds a BS from Glassboro State College. A 1979 graduate of GCHS, Coach Flynn has been a member of our faculty for 25 years. He serves as Dean of Discipline for freshmen and is an assistant coach of the football team.
Kevin Heil

Kevin Heil, Esquire, graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University in 1991 and earned a JD from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 1994. He has been a member of the GC faculty for nine years and moderates our Model UN. He is also a fourth year candidate in the deacon formation program in the Diocese of Camden.
Maureen Morgan

Maureen Morgan, a fifth year teacher at GCHS, previously taught at Sacred Heart High School in Vineland and the Mount Ephraim School District. A Gloucester Catholic alumna, she holds a BS from Kutztown University.
Kathleen Schilling

Kathleen Schilling received a BA degree in English/Secondary Education from Rutgers University. She is a four year member of the GCHS faculty and moderator of our school newspaper, The Rampage.
Lenora Vizzini

Lenora Vizzini received a BA in English from Trinity College in Washington D.C. and has pursued graduate work in School Public Relations at Glassboro State College. Mrs. Vizzini has been a member of our faculty for 34 years and is chairperson of the English Department.
Sharon Zuccarelli

Sharon Zuccarelli graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a degree in English and Education. While completing her degree, she was a member of the GCHS Guidance Office staff for five years.
