United States History 2 Honors
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
As with US HISTORY II, this honors course will cover the time period from 1877 to the present but in greater depth. Emphasis will be placed on major events and issues which are considered turning points in American history. The Presidency and US diplomacy in foreign affairs will be studied in detail.
Students will be required to periodically analyze historic essays, write two book reviews and submit a formal term paper.
