Privacy Policy

Introduction
GLOUCESTER CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL (GCHS)
respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at GCHS’s Web site.

Part I.  Information Collection
GCHS
collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors: IP address and time of visit. We collect this information through automatic logging files. 

We may employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. If used, cookies enable GCHS to track usage patterns and potentially deliver customized content to users. Our cookies will not collect personally identifiable information. 

Part II.  Information Usage.
Any
information collected by GCHS will be used for contact purposes only. Users who provide information will receive email announcements, capital campaign and fund-raising requests, and any alumni-oriented mailings that are appropriate to the user. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we will honor any request to not receive these types of communications.

We may share data with our Alumni Organization, the school administration, parish and/or diocesan officials.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Our Web site offers a guestbook (message board).  Please be advised that information posted in this venue becomes public knowledge. 

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, we will advise the public by modifying the policies presented on this page.

Part III.  Access to Information
GCHS
maintains the accuracy of our information only through user feedback.  Users may contact us about inaccuracies they may discover through email.  Users may delete their information from our database by sending a request to postmaster@gchsrams.org asking us to do so.

Part IV. Problem Resolution
If problems arise, users may contact GCHS by phone, mail, email, fax or in person.  We are committed to resolving any problems within a reasonable amount of time.

Part V. Data Storage and Security
GCHS protects user information with the following security measures: our database is accessible to only a limited number of staff members.
