Gloucester Catholic is located across the Delaware River from
Philadelphia, in Gloucester City, New Jersey. The school's proximity
to Philadelphia allows our students' education to be enhanced
through frequent field trips and participation in available cultural
activities.
School programs are housed in three buildings. In the past six years
many changes have been made to upgrade and improve the facilities of
both buildings. These include renovations to the science labs, the
addition of 3 new classrooms, a weight room for sports and physical
education, two state-of-the-art computer labs, a library with a
computerized information retrieval system, and the air-conditioning
of the third floor classrooms. More recently, we have opened the
Dominican Center, which houses our computer labs and the Guidance
Offices.

Accreditation: Gloucester Catholic is accredited by the Middle
States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools

Student Body: The student body of this comprehensive high school
consists of 779 students who come from more than 50 parochial and
public schools within the Diocese of Camden. There is a great deal
of diversity in demographics as well as ability.

Curriculum Highlights: Students follow a core curriculum and are
phased in for math grades nine and ten. Although remedial and
business courses are offered, very few courses are not college prep.
Students who are Gloucester County residents may attend the
Gloucester County Institute of Technology part-time during grades
eleven and twelve. Students who are designated as "accelerated" in
their freshmen year follow a more rigorous academic program,
consisting largely of honors and Advanced Placement courses,
throughout their four years. Calculus is offered in a dual credit
program with Gloucester County College.
